Real Estate Investment Guru Jason Hartman Explains Four Reasons Why the Debt Ceiling Chaos Points to Real Estate Investing Profits

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) August 22, 2011

Creator of the Complete Solution for Real Estate Investors?, Jason Hartman?s recent examination of the current state of the American economy reveals the stock market?s long run as the de facto Main Street investment is coming to an end. Tumultuous events of the past few weeks, characterized by a dubious debt ceiling agreement in Washington, the first time ever national S&P credit rating downgrade, and a steeply declining stock market are strong warnings that investors must begin to make plans to relocate assets from Wall Street to the more predictable and profitable environment of real estate.

According to Hartman, the 15% decline in stock market valuation in the days leading up to and immediately after the so-called Debt Control Agreement of 2011 are merely confirming indicators of a long-term trend illuminating the inherent weakness of the modern day stock exchange.

X-TOUR LUXURY STOOPS TO CONQUER – Stars & Angels

(PRWEB) November 12, 1999

Wednesday, November 10, 1999

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Source: company

VANCOUVER, B.C. November 10 (company release) – The X-Tour announced today the auction of one of its “priceless” Millennium tour and accommodation packages on auction web site Ebay until November 20th. But instead of just letting the people with the most money have all the spoils, the company decided on a twist.

After auctioning the first X-Tour, the company will donate another package of equal value to a family or group that could never hope to bid for such a luxurious and unique experience.

The Vancouver-based company reported that after BMW decided to auction one of its new models on Ebay, arguably the premier internet-based auction site, it became convinced that that method of selling did not sully a premium brand. In fact, it stated, the auction is an efficient way to allocate a scarce resource.

The BMW X5 sport utility vehicle, the first in a new vehicle lineup, went for $ 159,100 US with the proceeds earmarked for charity, according to the German automaker.

The X-Tour, purveyor of premium tours, was faced with the delicate problem of allocating an even scarcer resource than the first of a line of cars: the limited number of people who can spend the Millennium at the company’s “Star-Stays”–places made famous by Hollywood-in-Vancouver, such as where Fox Networks filmed X-Files’ Agent Scully’s apartment and abduction, Pendrell Suites, a luxury apartment frequented by stars.

“We like the efficiency of the auction method: letting the market decide what the Millennium X-Tour is worth and clearing our inventory,” X-Tour President Boyd McConnell stated. “After all, Christie’s, for one, has been auctioning scarce, luxury items for over 200 years.”

“At this incredibly special time of our lives–the advent of a Millennium, long bull markets,” McConnell continued, “we must not forget to share special experiences and our wealth.”

“Accordingly,” he stated, “proceeds from this auction will allow us to donate another X-Tour to some people who would never get the opportunity, either due to lack of funds or time.”

McConnell said the company, known more for catering to people’s desire to see movie stars and sights than philanthropy, invites proposals from groups and people who will nominate six or eight people to take the donated X-Tour. An airline or airlines to sponsor the travel can contact the X-Tour, too.

“We are not sure how or to whom to allocate the X-Tour and air we hope to have donated from one of the alliances,” McConnell revealed.

“Perhaps, we will establish a web site with the airline and have people vote on the donees’ proposals; maybe it will be a lottery. The mechanism will have to unfold,” he said.

McConnell felt that those corporations eager to “give something back” will come forward and that momentum will build.

While BMW is certainly not the first or only company to extend charity, McConnell feels it sets a good precedent for this festive season and the coming century, anyway.

“We challenge the rest of the business leaders, here in North America, in Asia, in Europe–indeed, around the world–to implement a similar spirit of giving to the less fortunate a chance to experience something they never would before,” he articulated.

While people taking X-Tours really feel like movie stars themselves, McConnell said they will also feel like angels this time.

“What can be better than having the time of your life at the Millennium and also bestowing that on someone else?” he asked. “It is, in fact, just like a Star to give. So, in that sense, our Millennnium X-Tour is the complete package.”

The X-Tour is a Vancouver-based Entertainment company, which provides “out-of-this-world,” premium experiences both terrestrially (in Vancouver) and extraterrestrially (on the Internet) for tourists and TV and movie fans all over the world. It retains the services of both humans and aliens.

Taming the Internet Travel Beast

(PRWEB) November 19, 1999

Reports say that within the next few years travel services on the internet will be the dominant means of purchasing and researching Travel. Every day new travel sites emerge promising user friendly travel services. Countless sites offer the “lowest price” in air fare or low cost travel packages. Dozens of sites bring you everything you have ever wanted to know about your favorite vacation spot.

So with all of this information, how is someone suppose to find anything?

The answer is simple, SEARCH. Search Engines make the internet easy to navigate. “With a few keystrokes the internet becomes a useful tool”, says Jim McIntosh owner of HereHuGo.com-The Travel Search Engine. “Major search engines like Infoseek and Lycos can provide most of the information that you are searching for, the only problem is sifting through the pages of results to find a site worth using”, McIntosh continues.

So what’s the answer. HereHuGo.com has found a way to tame the “e-travelers” nightmares. HereHuGo (pronounced ‘Here You Go’) searches the web for travel sites that are worth looking at. “All of the sites on our search engine have been viewed by one of our editors and if they pass, they are added”, says McIntosh, “we want our users to get the information that they are deserving.” Sites added must be easy to navigate, nice to look at, and offer useful content.

Visitors to the site can search for travel deals and information by using either the search engine, or by viewing one of the Forty pre-searched topics. The site is easy to use and can aid in planning that next GREAT vacation.

HereHuGo also provides services to help you plan your next vacation. “We have travel services on our home page that can find prices on Air, Hotel, rental cars, and accessories to aid in planning the ultimate vacation”, relates Mr. McIntosh, “We also have a forum area and a bi-monthly newsletter to keep you informed on what’s happening in the travel world.”

What does the future hold for HuGo? Plenty. Plans are in the works to sponsor a Travel Auction, so that visitors can find even better deals. Plans are also in the works to expand their ‘Steals and Deals’ area with classifieds being updated dailey.

So the next time you are wrestling with the dreaded “e-travel” beast, or are frustrated with sifting through thousands of search results, stop by HereHuGo.com and tame the savage beast by using a Travel Search Engine.

Carlynx.com, a new automotive reference site, invites searching or surfing.

(PRWEB) December 15, 1999

What’s your car question? Chances are Carlynx.com, a new web portal devoted to anything automotive, can connect you with your answer. Carlynx goes head to head with the dozens of Web sites for buying and researching vehicle purchases that have opened in the last few years. Carlynx is not in the business of selling cars, its sole purpose is to provide the consumer with a worldwide database of automotive information at their fingertips.

40 percent of new vehicle buyers currently use the Internet

J.D. Power, an industry consultant, estimates 40 percent of new vehicle buyers currently use the Internet in some way, almost double from a year ago. Aiming at encyclopedic completeness, Carlynx enables internet users to link to over fifty thousand auto-related Internet sites, arranged into 25 categories of interest.

Search for Specific Information

Hundreds of Web sites for buying and researching new and used vehicle purchases have opened in the last few years amid the exploding popularity of the Internet. Automobile shoppers can click on the Marketplace heading to find new and used car sites, internet buying services, manufacturers’ websites, automobile auctions, and franchised dealer’s pages.

The Information heading provides consumers with testimonials from satisfied owners, road-test results, recall and safety information, reviews from automotive publications, and hundreds of online automotive magazines. Auto insurance rates can be researched using the directory of insurance companies. Alternative fuel and hybrid-powered vehicles can be explored using Carlynx technology section. Safety and crash-test reults can be found at Crashtest.com, Carlynx’s sister site, which specializes in data for both new and used cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs.

Spiffing up your car? Look in the Parts and Resources directory for aftermarket suppliers and technical help; specialties include car audio, racing equipment, restoration supplies, street-rod and muscle-car specialists, and aftermarket wheels and tires.

Or Surf and See What’s There

Car enthusiasts can surf the Carlynx database, arranged by make and model, and by country of origin. Separate pages feature links to auto clubs, car museums, and shows around the world .

The motorsports category boasts thousands of websites devoted to America’s passion, racin’. Listings include NASCAR, CART, Formula One, Indy Racing League, drag and dirt racing, rallying, off-road, monster trucks, and tractor-pulling. The drivers’ directory is the largest of its kind. Simulated racing sites are listed, as well as pages for buying and selling racing memorabilia.

“Auto sites and subjects are everywhere on the web; I’ve gathered them into one easy to use, complete compendium that I’m constantly updating,” says Carlynx creator Mark Theobald, who also authored Crashtest.com, an auto safety reference site. “Doing the research for Crashtest I saw how scattered auto information was. Now it’s all accessible through one portal: manufacturer’s pages, dealers, satisfied owners, road-tests, car insurers, auto shows, publications and online magazines, parts suppliers, repair advice, racing, electric cars -if a website deals with automobiles, you’ll find it on Carlynx.”

Theobald claims Carlynx is “the largest directory of automobile sites in existence,” adding that building it had its surprises. “There’s so much out there that you might never find unless you already knew about it -take Racequeens, for example,” says Theobald, referring to the Japanese phenomenon of pretty, demurely-clad young women wearing company logos who grace car events in Japan.

New Site, HomeBrokerAuction.com to Auction Off Realtors Commissions

(PRWEB) February 18, 2000

DENVER, Colo. – February 16, 2000 – Competition pushes down consumer costs for everything from electronics to cars to mortgages. So why are homeowners still forced to pay a fixed, costly commission to real estate brokers to sell their homes? A Denver businessman has a better idea. Peter Roth, CEO of the new web site, HomeBrokerAuction.com, says he can save the average home seller at least $ 2,000 in brokerage fees. The site, employs a simple strategy, and is the only service of its kind on the web. Roth’s idea was to create a web site where a home seller places their house on an auction, and real estate brokers from their area bid their lowest commissions to list the home. As a result, the lowest bidder takes the deal and the home seller saves a fortune.

Cherokee Nation Businesses Partners With Walmart, Bringing More Jobs to Mayes County

Pryor, OK (PRWEB) August 22, 2011

The Cherokee Nation is bringing more new jobs to Mayes County, thanks to a new partnership developed over the last year between Cherokee Nation Businesses and Walmart.

CNB employees will inspect televisions that have been returned to Walmart stores from around the region to determine if they are in working condition and have all of their parts. ?This division is a great example of the Cherokee people?s determination for success and our willingness to work hard,? said David Stewart, CEO of CNB. ?Over the past decade, we?ve created thousands of new jobs and established our Nation as perhaps the most vital economic development engine in the region. The continued creation of new jobs gives our citizens the opportunity to provide for themselves and for their families, so that our Cherokee culture may continue to thrive.?

The company recently celebrated the creation of 32 jobs with the opening of its 143,000-square-foot distribution center at MidAmerica Industrial Park, located in Pryor, Okla. (PRWEB) August 13, 2000

Partnership Enables An Aggressive Leasing Option for Tools USA’s 59,000 Customers Enhancing Their Price/Performance Value Proposition

*****

Marina Del Rey, Calif. – August 10, 2000 – Lease2save.com, a leader in online leasing solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with Tools USA, Inc., a division of Standard Tools. Under the agreement, Lease2save.com will make available its business-to-business leasing exchange and lease-enabling services to Tools USA’s 59,000 capital equipment customers from the company’s website http://www.toolsusa.com.

Using Lease2save.com’s patent-pending Bidding Arenaä marketplace and on-line lease planning modules, Tools USA will enable their customers to identify a preferred financing option, generate a custom lease proposal and payment schedule, then have the nation’s premier lenders compete for their applications all from one location. The Lease2save.com Bidding Arena allows business owners and equipment sales representatives to access multiple lending institutions from one location, each specializing in different credit profiles and equipment types. Participating lenders that match the applicant’s credit profile can review the entire lease plan, company information, guarantor credit information and equipment information in real time, then offer a guaranteed rate factor bid. Finally, the winning lender can perform lease fulfillment on-line or off-line, depending on the applicant’s preference. Customer contact information is kept confidential throughout the bidding process.

These services will enhance and simplify the financing options made available to companies purchasing capital equipment from Tools USA. “We are receiving over 60,000 page hits every month at ToolsUSA.com and our e-commerce initiative has been a very important part of our growth, says Rich Horrocks, VP of Operations at Tools USA, Inc. “But after working with Lease2save.com, we realized that we weren’t offering our customers their preferred method of financing, on-line, and were forcing them to call us during normal work hours to complete their transaction, or use a credit card. Partnering with Lease2save.com allows our customers to obtain financing entirely on-line, while ensuring they’re receiving the best rates possible. We’re very excited about this new option and are delighted that Lease2save.com can provide us with the systems integration and services for free.”

“Lease2save.com is providing a critical missing link in the e-procurement chain,” says Brian Murray, President and co-founder of Lease2save.com. “Eighty percent of all U.S. businesses are leasing some or all of their equipment and demand a seamless e-commerce model without the inefficiencies that have been part of the traditional leasing process, or the unrealistic on-line models offered today. All participants involved, including lessees, vendors and lessors benefit from Lease2save.com’s proprietary lease planning tools, customer-centric process and neutral auction environment.
